Believe it or not, I am a person who fought acne a few years ago.

Dealing with acne is one of the most frustrating struggles to experience. Although basically everybody gets acne during their lives, this isn’t reason to just “accept” it and be comfortable with having acne.

I used to have brutal acne. I was someone who was considered to have severe acne. I know exactly how crushing acne is to your self-esteem. There were several times that I didn’t want to leave the house because I was so embarrassed by the way my face looked.

I always thought people were looking at me and thinking about the way my skin had acne. Sure, nobody came right out and said it, but I knew people were starting at times.

And of course, I didn’t even think about getting a girlfriend. Yeah, I liked girls, but I had zero confidence in myself and thought I was too ugly to be dating.

Acne affected so many aspects of my life. It wasn’t just my face that was in bad shape – I was in bad shape as a whole. My lack of self-confidence affected my friendships, my lovelife and my happiness.

Thankfully, I found an acne treatment that worked for me. I’m able to live without acne nowadays. I tried a lots of different acne treatment products before I found the cure. My main advice is to make sure you use a treatment that actually treats all of the causes of acne. Without this, you won’t see the results you want.

And please – skip the prescription drugs. Not only are they ineffective in most cases, but some of them have bad side effects.

Just be sure not to get discouraged and to do something about it! Read some acne treatment reviews, find the best acne treatment for you, and stick to it.
